The erstwhile Attorney General and Minister of Justice in the former All People’s Congress (APC) Government, Joseph Fitgerald Kamara Esq., at the weekend tweeted that the governing Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) “faces legitimacy challenge and we the people face governance challenge.”
According the APC stalwart, who also served as Commissioner of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in the same government, “This impasse cannot sustainably lead to peace & prosperity. The thrust-electoral fraud, needs to be primarily addressed to restore confidence & stability.”
JFK, who has suddenly become a political and social commentator on social media, concluded that “Peoples votes, like their lives, must be secured.”
In her response to JFK’s tweet, the First Lady, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, tweets:
“This country also needs an opposition that is truly honest to its supporter. 2028 is just around the corner and intellectuals like you if you are truly one, are still busy using social media to fake Sierra Leoneans. Get your house in order Sir. The current narrative is simple ‘Progress.’”
