Reuters is reporting that a Convicted Cocaine Smuggler of Dutch extraction is currently living in Sierra Leone. This is not only erroneous but very misleading.
Reuters’ only reason to claim that the said Cocaine Kingpin, Jos Leijdekkers is residing in Sierra Leone is pictorial.
The said picture has not been juxtaposed with any original picture of the wanted person (Jos Leijdekkers) from Nederland. There has not been any dissected video of the photo that was presented by Reuters.
It is very much likely that Reuters claims are a mistaken identity. The said claim has been investigated by this press with the immigration and has proven that there has been no time the said wanted person entered or cross the Sierra Leonean borders. That is to say Jos Leijdekkers has never been in Sierra Leone.
Reuters must provide enough evidence to prove that Jos Leijdekkers is living in Sierra Leone before they could publish anything.
This is a damning and very serious claim that deserves classic investigative evidence.
The ordinary photo of a man standing in a church behind the President has nothing factual. The said photo resembles a Lebanese man that lives around Moyamba and attended the said church on New Year’s Day.
Government should take Reuters to task so that such assertions will not be repeated.
