The WanGov team, together with the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA) and Korlie Ltd, has successfully deployed WanGov at the Gbalamuya Border Post.

The platform simplifies revenue collection and access to government services, bringing convenience, transparency, and efficiency to cross-border operations.

Through WanGov, citizens can now pay for Sierra Leone government services digitally, including business registration, permits, licenses, and other official documents, even from Conakry, Guinea. Documents are processed before arrival at the border, allowing users to simply collect them upon arrival, making cross-border trade faster and more seamless.

This demonstrates that cross-border digital trade is not a dream, but a reality, as the government continues to build a citizen-focused, regional digital ecosystem.

The system will soon be extended to Jendema, on the Liberia–Sierra Leone border, further expanding access to government services and supporting regional trade.
