The champions walked away with a handsome prize of NLe 500,000 and a prestigious trophy, marking the end of an electrifying football season.

This year’s finale was not only a celebration of football excellence but also a testament to the growing corporate support for sports development in Sierra Leone. Leone Rock Metal Group reaffirmed its status as a leading force in this effort by renewing its sponsorship agreement with the Sierra Leone Premier League Board. The renewed deal, valued at a remarkable $150,000 (equivalent to Le 3,388,170), is the largest corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative ever undertaken by the company.
This investment reflects a near 100% increase from the $80,000 pledged in 2023 under a previous Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signaling the company’s deepening commitment to fostering local talent and uplifting communities through football.
Speaking at the event, , Administrative Manager of Leone Rock Metal Group, Mohamed Fofanah emphasized the company's broader CSR strategy, which includes various projects across Sierra Leone’s regions and chiefdoms. “We believe in the potential of Sierra Leonean football, and this partnership is a testament to our dedication to its growth,” he said.
Sierra Leone Football Association President, Babadi Kamara, praised the company’s support: “I stand here representing football in Sierra Leone, and I want to say that we are very pleased with this partnership.” He highlighted the positive impact the sponsorship has had on developing sports infrastructure and creating opportunities for youth.
Chairman of the Leone Rock Premier League, Mark Ngegba, also underscored the importance of the partnership. “This sponsorship is more than financial aid; it’s a catalyst for growth.Leone Rock Metal Group has consistently stood by us, and their support continues to raise the league’s standards,” he stated.
