Under the astute leadership of Ibrahim Derosime Cole, Leone Oil Company will today Thursday 18th April, 2019 open another state-of-the-art fuel station at Pultney Street/Wallace Johnson Street junction.

Sierra Leone’s only 100% indigenous oil company, Leone Oil started business after opening their first filling station and office at Africanus Road, Kissy Old Road.

Leone Oil was established on December 7, 1994. Before that, the company did business through its retailers.

Leonco’s desire and determination is to see Sierra Leoneans have and develop their own oil company.

At its inception in December, 1994, about 60% shares were bought by 35 Sierra Leoneans who had a vision of deepening local content in oil commerce.

Today, it boast of $3.1 million was invested to pay for 55% which has grown steadily to a remarkable success.
