Background/Purpose:
CRS Sierra Leone is looking for a professional Company or Individual Consultancy Services provider to conduct market study on Home-Grown Food Supply.
The Fifth phase of the McGovern Dole (MGD) Food for education (FFE) program, “Lan 4 U future” is a four-year program that is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA); "Lan 4 U Future" (phase V) is an integrated education program - with school feeding as a major component. The program is implemented in the Northern region of Sierra Leone within the two districts of Koinadugu and Falaba. Lan 4 U Future is implementing a GIK (Fortified Lentils, Oil and Rice) and local and regional procurement activity to contribute to sustainable indigenous school canteens. The commodities used in the implementation of this strategy are Local pigeon peas (konso), local parboiled rice, local red palm oil, and Orange Flesh Sweet Potatoes (OFSP) are procured locally and included in school meals.
Work to be Accomplished:
The purpose of the study is determined whether there has been an increase in the cost of commodities overtime and further establish the economic impact of both donated and LRP commodities on the Market and further update information gather from previous studies.

1. Must be registered to conduct business and in compliance with governmental tax regulations in Sierra Leone.
