Background
CRS Country Programs (CP) with an inventory of distribution goods, such as donated and purchased food commodities, pharmaceuticals, bed nets, pre-positioned goods, program materials, construction materials, etc., valued at 750,000 USD or greater on September 30th, 2024 (fiscal year end), are required to engage an independent, external audit firm to observe physical inventory count processes performed by CRS staff.
General Requirements
1. Bidders must be registered to conduct business and in compliance with governmental tax regulations in Sierra Leone.
2. Certified and registered to operate by governing law of the local government.
3. Qualified under the United States Government’s “Yellow Book” audit.
4. At least 10 years’ experience for the Lead Reviewer who will carry out the mission and 5-8 years experiences for his/her assistants.
5. Have at least three years prior experience in undertaking physical inventory for United States Government food aid programs.
6. Have adequate, experienced staff for the assignment.
7. CRS retains the right to reject, cancel, negotiate, amend, split, and accept any offer, without consideration of the lowest offer.
