Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh yesterday Tuesday 19th September, 2023 paid a visit to the ongoing NationalStadium Reconstruction Project at Sykes Street, Freetown. The Hon. Vice President and his entourage comprised Chinese Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Minister of Sports, Director of Sports in the Ministry and a host of sports authorities to assess the progress of the reconstruction project of the National Stadium.

VP Juldeh Jalloh said the ongoing reconstruction will not only meet international standards but will also respond to the socio-economic needs of Sierra Leonean small businesses around football and the avenues in the country.

VP Juldeh Jalloh was impressed with the progress of work and was assured that the stadium would be ready by mid September next year.
The VP used the visit to announce that Government will establish a viable infrastructure to manage the stadium and its facilities in the future.
