The elected Members of Parliament of the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) party will now take the oath of office in the Well of Parliament on Tuesday 7th November instead of today Tuesday 31st October, 2023 that was originally slated by Parliament.

The elected APC MPs, Mayors/Chairpersons and Councilors had not participated in State governance following the announcement of the 24th June 24th multitier election results which they claimed were rigged.
The elected APC officials of the local councils took their oath of office at the weekend, while the elected MPs will take their Oath of Office in the Well of Parliament on Tuesday 7th November, 2023 respectively.
