The Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA) has announced a new tariff structure for five-year driver’s licenses set to take effect today Monday 2nd September, 2024.
According to SLRSA, the decision to increase the tariffs comes as part of SLRSA’s ongoing commitment to maintaining road safety and delivering quality services amid rising operational costs driven by global inflation.
In a statement, the SLRSA highlighted that the new tariff rates have been carefully calibrated to address the significant increase in operational expenses due to global economic conditions.
The adjustment is seen as a necessary step to ensure the sustainability of SLRSA’s operations and the continued provision of high-quality road transport services in Sierra Leone.
