Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, has commended President Julius Maada Bio for his significant role in representing Africa at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
"Speaking on behalf of the continent, President Bio has effectively articulated Africa’s urgent concerns, advocating for a permanent seat in the UNSC for Africa, more inclusive global governance, and stronger international cooperation," he stated.
VP Juldeh Jalloh highlighted the president's eloquence and dedication, noting how he has successfully communicated Africa’s challenges and aspirations to the global community.
According to him, President Bio's address at the Security Council underscored critical issues such as peace and security, and sustainable development, which are vital to Africa’s future.
He said that President Bio's commitment to advocating for Africa’s interests at such a high-level forum reflects his broader vision for a stronger, more united Africa.
VP Jalloh emphasized that the president’s efforts have not only elevated Sierra Leone’s standing but have also strengthened Africa’s collective voice on the international stage, demonstrating a commitment to the continent’s progress and stability.
