In a gesture of appreciation and recognition, the Director General of Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA), Mr. Yankuba Askia Bio, has honoured the hardworking female staff of the Authority with special gifts in celebration of the International Women’s Day. Though belated, the event served as a heartfelt acknowledgment of the invaluable contributions of women in the maritime sector.
During the presentation, Mr. Bio commended the dedication and resilience of the female workforce, emphasizing their vital role in the success and development of the Authority. He reiterated SLPHA’s commitment to fostering gender inclusivity and empowering women in the industry.
