Following the change of government on 4th April, 2018, series of memos of transfer order and leave to retirement of senior ranks police officers from one region, division, department to another have been effected from the Director Human Resource Management Office in the Sierra Leone Police (SLP).
The memo dated 18th June, 2018 issued out yesterday; the leadership of the SLP have effected the following transfers among senior ranks effective Tuesday 19th June 2018. AIG Alfred Karrow Kamara from Director Infrastructure & Estate to Leave retirement; Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Mohamed B. Kamara aka Legal one is transferred again from Head of Complaints Discipline Internal Investigation Department(CDIID) to Local Unit Commander(LUC) Kailahun Division; Chief Superintendent Francis M. Hazely from LUC Kailahun Division to LUC Central Division.
While CSP Michael A. Souvula moves from LUC Lunsar Division to LUC Waterloo Division; CSP Mira Koroma is transferred from LUC Eastern Police Division to Head of OPPD. AIG Kalia E. Sesay moves from RHQ South Regional Commander to Director of Community Affairs while AIG Mustapha Kamara is transferred from Freetown East Regional Commander to Director Gender, Protocol & Hospitality. AIG Gloria O.V. Tarawally moves from Director Gender, Protocol &
Hospitality to Director Peace Keeping Operations Department.
AIG Ibrahim Koroma is transferred from Director Peace Keeping Operations Department to Director Infrastructure & Estate while AIG Amos T. Kargbo moves from North East Regional Commander to North West Regional Commander.
CSP Jorwulor Ansumana Gbonnoh moves from North West Caretaker Regional Commander to Acting North East Regional Commander while CSP Aiesha N. Bangura is transferred from Head of Family Support Unit to LUC Eastern Police Division.
CSP Emmanuel S. Kargbo moves from LUC Tankoro Division to Head of CDIID while CSP Samuel Kargbo is transferred from LUC Aberdeen Division to LUC Bonthe Division.
