Leone Rock Metal Group (LRMG) marked International Women’s Day with vibrant celebrations across its headquarter and subsidiary sites, highlighting the company’s strong commitment to empowering women, promoting inclusivity, and recognizing the invaluable contributions of its female workforce.
At the company’s headquarter, LRMG partnered with the Confucius Institute to host a cultural exchange and reflection event focused on women’s empowerment and skills development. The event, held in the company’s conference room, provided a platform for dialogue, appreciation, and recognition of the important roles women play both within the company and in society.
Delivering the keynote address, Shelly Wu, Dean of the Confucius Institute, thanked LRMG for the warm invitation and thoughtful initiative. She emphasized the importance of gender equality, mutual respect, and cross-cultural collaboration. According to her, empowering women remains essential for sustainable development and organizational growth. She encouraged women to continue striving for excellence while supporting one another in both their professional and personal lives.
Also speaking at the event, HR and Administration Director Miller reaffirmed LRMG’s commitment to promoting gender equity and recognizing the invaluable contributions of women across the company. The program featured awareness presentations, poetry readings, and interactive cultural activities including rope braiding, paper cutting, lacquer painting, and lessons on playing the traditional Chinese instrument, the Guzheng. Facilitated by instructors from the Confucius Institute alongside LRMG female staff, the session provided participants with deeper insights into cultural traditions and the importance of global partnerships in today’s interconnected world.
The celebration concluded with a presentation of gifts to the women of LRMG and the Confucius Institute, alongside renewed appreciation for women’s achievements and a shared commitment to building a workplace where respect, empowerment, and collaboration remain central.
