Reliable sources have intimated The Satellite Press that, ex-President Ernest Bai Koroma has acceded to unrestrainedly cooperate with the Commissions of Inquiry set up to look into the financial activities and management of state funds of his government, based on advice from his legal counsels.

According to our source, despite his party’s unwavering position not to attend the hearings scheduled to officially commence on Monday 4th February, 2019, Koroma has resolved to unconditionally honour the Commissions’ invitation and ensure his attendance when invited to do so.

It is however unclear, whether the main opposition APC Chairman and Leader’ decision to cooperate with the Commissions will now have the entire party reconsider its previous standpoint to boycott the inquiry.

What is also glaring was that, the former vice president in the President Koroma government, Victor Bockarie Foh, controversially appointed by ex-President Koroma after sacking his predecessor, Samuel Sam Sumana, unconstitutionally, has earlier warned his colleagues to appear before the Commissions, when invited to do so.

Foh, the APC veteran politician entreated them to face the Commissions, if they know they have nothing to hide, and vindicate themselves from the numerous allegations.
