The Executive Chairman of the Petroleum Regulatory Agency, (PRA) Mr. Brima Baluwa Koroma has been jointly honoured with Doctorate Degree by the Senate of the London Graduate School, and Commonwealth University in Dubai at a prestigious award ceremony on the 29th March 2019.

Mr. Koroma was awarded with Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), Honoris Causa for his outstanding leadership in the oil industry.

The result-oriented CEO was also awarded a Master Class Certificate in Business Management and Leadership.

Mr. Koroma’s appointment by His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio, has seen global recognitions of the petroleum industry in Sierra Leone which was nothing to write about.

Mr. Koroma recently attended a leadership summit of stakeholders in the oil and gas industry from Europe, Asia and Africa in Dubai on the theme, Growth and Sustainability: Strategies for Leaders, Professionals and Entrepreneurs.

The PRA boss and delegates from ten countries brainstormed on a number of difficult sustainability challenges facing nations, businesses and economic communities in the World.

Mr. Koroma’s meritorious awards did not come as a surprise to oil marketers in the country. He is esteemed as holding a longstanding track record in the oil sector and the normalization of fuel crisis in the country.

Less than a year since he was appointed, CEO Dr. Baluwa Koroma has been able to transform the PRA to an enviable Government Agency which has seen high-level compliance from oil dealers and marketers, high revenue generation, building the capacities of his staffs in order to be able to execute the mandate of the Agency.
