There is a new twist to the long running Sahn Malen landowners saga with hundreds of supporters of the Malen Land Owners Association (MALOA) transforming themselves into Hopanda Peace Support Group for Malen Chiefdom and pledged their loyalty to the Paramount Chief BVS Kebbie III and Socfin Agricultural Company.

The names of thirty two very senior and influential supporters of Hon. Shiaka Sama exposed as the mastermind behind all the diabolic acts of insurrection in Sahn Malen chiefdom and wanton acts of vandalism against Socfin property names have openly expressed their wholehearted support and willingness to work with the Chiefdom Authorities and the Company and have received the blessing of the paramount chief who remarked that it is the spirit in which Sahn Malen should live and work as one towards the common good.

These thirty two Sahn Malen elders who are said to be the kingpins responsible for Shiaka Sama’s political survival have also brought along with them a lot of other chiefdom elders willing to work with the PC to peacefully develop Sahn Malen.

At a meeting organized by Jaggie Boy at Taninahun attended by over 200 ex-supporters, all of them apologized to the Chiefdom Authorities for their past misdeeds and promised that nobody will fool them any more.

They went further to disclose to Malen community through Malen Radio why they have abandoned MALOA.Their movement is gaining momentum.

According to one of them, all the bread and butter promises that were given to them by their then Godfather (Shiaka Sama) never materialized. They were left idle and an idle mind is the devil’s workshop.

With the new Hopanda peace movement having broken away from Shiaka Sama, he will no longer command disturbances in the Chiefdom.
