Amadu Wurie Jalloh, who is resident at No. 2 Berry Street, Freetown, is currently in hiding following report that he was caught with a male partner on 7th May, 2022 practicing homosexuality at his residence at 3:00 p.m. by one Isatu of the same residence.

The tradition of Sierra Leone forbids homosexuality because of the religious beliefs of majority of its people who believe in Islam and Christianity. It is therefore an unpardonable crime for anyone to commit homosexuality which is regarded as an evil and sinful sexual practice in the country.
After the whistleblower, Isatu, who caught Amadu Wurie Jalloh and his male partner practicing homosexuality alarmed the incident, Amadu Wurie Jalloh escaped through the window of his room. But following an intensified manhunt for Amadu Wurie Jalloh and his friend, who were caught by Isatu making love to each other, the former reportedly escaped from Sierra Leone to neighbouring Guinea where report states he is currently residing to escape from justice.
Sources close to Amadu Wurie Jalloh disclosed that he escaped to Guinea at about 3:00am though parents, relatives and friends are still complaining that they don’t know his whereabouts.
Meanwhile, the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) has vowed to get to the root of the sudden disappearance of Amadu Wurie Jalloh and that anyone hiding him and his partner would be severely punished according to the laws of Sierra Leone.
