Malal Village at Tonkolili District is in complete sadness over the alleged murder of a strong community youth Mohamed Mansaray.

 According to sources, Mohamed was forced into joining the Mens secret society but he refused. It was reported by his a neighbor that his sister

Abibatu Mansaray had also been a constant hit and target for the Bondo secret society because of the roles their grandparents and their parents played as heads of these societies.

According to sources gathered, Abibatu was set to succeed her late Mum who named her a successor (Bondo head). Hence , after the brautal murder of her elder brother whilst being forced into the men’s secret society,

Abibatu fled from her village to Freetown and was last seen at a Police station seeking support.

Our sources indicate that nothing will be done about the threats to her life. As this is not the first time people have approached law enforcing officers for help. But are rather treated unfairly or totally ignored are most of these officers are part of the societies themselves.

Friends and relatives have not been able to see Abibatu since she was last spotted. And it is rumoured that she may have fled the country for her life.
