Jamieu Haq Mosque at Fourah Bay in Freetown on Friday 24th March, 2023 honoured Hon. Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh for his untiring efforts to support Islam and religious leaders in the country.

The newly crowned Imam, Dr. Ramadan Jalloh, and other leaders of the Jamaat presented the gift to the Honorable Vice President who observed the first Friday of the Holy Month of Ramadan at the Mosque.

Addressing the congregation, the Hon. Vice President thanked the Board of Imams and the Jamaat for the warm reception they accorded him. He expressed his profound condolences to the entire Jamaat for the loss of their former Imam, the Grand Mufti who passed away a month ago.

The Hon. Vice President used the occasion to call on the Jamaat and the entire Muslim Umah in the country to use the Holy Month of Ramadan to pray for the country and President.

Earlier, the newly crowned Chief Imam of Jamieu Haq, Dr. Ramadan Jalloh, who delivered the sermon with sonorous voice, preached about unity as we approached the multitier elections. He harped on the unification of the Holy Month of Ramadan and prayed that the Almighty Allah would make provision for the ruling Government of His Excellency President Brig. (Rtd) Julius Maada Bio so that they could take care of the citizens.
