Orange Money, the leading mobile money company in Sierra Leone, on Thursday 8th June, 2023 at Orange (SL) Headquarters on Hill Stations, Regent in Freetown launched Orange Money Card to customers and the public.
Orange Money Card is open to all Orange and non-Orange customers and even those who are not having a smart phone are not limited to using the facility.

In his statement, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Orange Money, David S. Mansaray, expressed excitement as theyu were about to launch the Orange Money Debit Card. He confirmed that the card would be used to shop online and make payments.

The CEO stated that Orange Money card has taken over the mobile money World, which happens to be the very first to be launched in Sierra Leone.

Mr. Mansaray assured that their commitment to innovation is very strong, adding that the card will make business easy. One could swipe his/her card to buy fuel and at the same time the card will be helping with the issue of making reversals. Mistakes using the card will be limited. The CEO reaffirmed that the journey to improve their digital footprint in Sierra Leone is a continuous process and they will remain committed to fulfilling that.

Mr. Mansaray assured that Orange Money is for everyone and, therefore, everyone should have access to Orange Money Card.

Acting CEO of Orange (SL), Haffie Haffner, said Orange is taking the lead in social interaction and that they are not only operating to make money but they are also giving back to society through the upholding of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Madam Haffner ended by saying that Orange SL is committed to making the necessary digitalization services to their customers, as they are considered their boss.

Madam Haffner stressed that their subsidiary Orange Money is leading in the financial inclusion in Sierra Leone."Mr. Mansaray is doing tremendously well in the area of financial inclusion. Orange Money Card is giving an opportunity to not only the company but to the customer as well and even people who are not Orange Money customers," she averred.

CEO David Mansaray launched the product Orange Money Card and extended profound thanks and appreciation to the team members for being supportive throughout the innovation stage.
