His Excellency President Brig. (Rtd) Dr. Julius Maada Bio yesterday Wednesday 24th July, 2024 announced sixteen key appointments in his administration.

The President made two strategic appointments in the energy sector as energy experts, Ing. Andrew Keili, was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) while Ing. Samuel J. Alpha was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Electricity Generation and Transmission Company (EGTC) respectively.

This development comes following statement by President Bio in a Town Hall Meeting at the Bintumani International Conference Centre on Tuesday 23rd July, 2024 that his government was going to overhaul EDSA and EGTC in order to ensure efficient service delivery in the energy sector.

The President also emphasized the importance of having a dynamic and experienced team to drive the nation’s development agenda.

Alhaji Brima E. Koroma was appointed as Ambassador Designate to a newly established Sierra Leone Embassy in Algiers, Algeria, as an expansion of the country’s foreign policy. Below is the President’s appointment list:
