NOTIFICATION FOR PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF THE DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT REPORT FOR LEONCO FILLING STATIONS IN SIERRA LEONE

This advert serves to notify interested person/parties of the Draft Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) conducted on behalf of the LEONOIL COMPANY LIMITED (LEONCO) for all their filling stations located in Freetown, Makeni, Port Loko, Rogbere Junction, Lungi, Kono Segbwema and Bo.

In conformity and compliance with the Sierra Leone Environment Protection Agency Act (2008/2010), LEONCO intends to design their operations in a manner that minimises potential negative environmental and social impacts. This is expected to be achieved through the ESIA process. The Draft ESIA Report have been prepared by the Consulting Firm, Integrated Geo-information and Environmental Management Services (INTEGEMS) Limited on behalf of LEONCO to address the environmental and social concerns related to the Project.

The Draft ESIA Report will be presented to the general public, including affected communities and interested stakeholders during the public disclosure on the following dates:

-Tuesday 28 January 2020 at Kenema District Council Hall (Participants from Kenema, Bo Segbwema and Kono).

- Thursday 30 January 2020 at Port Loko District Council Hall (Participants from Lungi, Lunsar, Rogbere Junction, and Port Loko City).

- Friday 31 January 2020 at INTEGEMS Geo-innovations Centre, 8H Technical Institute Drive, Off Main Motor Road, Congo Cross, Freetown (Participants from reetown) The report is now available for public review and comment at the following locations:

The Environmental Protection Agency Sierra Leone (EPA-SL), 21 Old Railway Line, Brookfields, Freetown LEONOIL COMPANY LIMITED office at Leonoil Terminal, Kissy Mess Mess, Texaco New Road Freetown.

Integrated Geo-information and Environmental Management Services (INTEGEMS) Limited office at 8G Technical Institute Drive, Off Main Motor Road, Congo Cross Freetown. Stakeholders and interested person/parties are invited to participate in the consultation process for the public disclosure at the above mentioned locations.

Comments can be submitted verbally or written at the stakeholder workshop or any of the above mentioned addresses.
