The national Water Resources Management Agency (NWRMA) has received funds from the Government of Sierra Leone and intends to apply it towards the cost of construction of 25 (twenty-five) groundwater and 10 (ten) surface water monitoring stations in Sierra Leone. The aim of this project is to achieve nationwide coverage in re-establishing Sierra Leones’s hydrological monitoring network within a period of three years. The re-establishment of hydrological monitoring networks will compliment similar projects presently on-going to effectively monitor and manage Sierra Leone’s water resources.

The national Water Resources Management Agency now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders with their respective bid securities for the construction of 25 groundwater and 10 surface water monitoring stations
as shown in the table below:

Bidding will be conducted through the open method of the International competitive bidding procedures as specified in the National Public Procurement Authority legal instruments and is open to both National and International eligible bidders.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the National Water Resources Management Agency at 29 King Harman Road, Freetown during office hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm from 25th August 2021 to 7th September 2021.
A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the above office, and upon a payment of a non-refundable fee of Le five hundred thousand leones (Le 500,000) to the following account:

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Le 70,000,000 from a reputable commercial bank and must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:30 am 8th September 2021 and will be open thereafter 1:30 pm on the same date, in the presence of bidders or their representative who choose to attend at the address below.
Late bids will be rejected and return unopen.
