NATIONAL WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT AGENCY SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE FOR SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF 25 GROUNDWATER AND 10 SURFACE WATER MONITORING STATIONS EQUIPMENTS

The National Water Resources Management Agency (NWRMA) has received funds from the Government of Sierra Leone and intends to apply it towards the cost supply and installation of 25 ground mater and 10 surface water monitoring stations equipment’s. The National Water Resources Management Agency with the aim to achieve nationwide coverage in re-establishing Sierra Leones hydrological monitoring network is proposing to procure complete set of equipment of twenty-five (25) groundwater and ten (10) surface water monitoring stations across the country within a period of three years. The re-establishment of Sierra Leone’s hydrological monitoring network will compliment similar projects presently on-going to effectively manage Sierra Leone’s water resources.

The National Water Resources Management Agency now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders with their respective bid securities for the supply and installation of 25 groundwater and 10 surface water equipment for the following:

Bidding will be conducted through the open method of the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in the National Public Procurement Authority’s legal instruments and is open to both national and International eligible bidders.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the National Water Resources Management Agency at 29 King Harman Road, Freetown during office hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm from Wednesday 25th August 2021 to Tuesday 7th September 2021.
A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the above office, and upon a payment of a non-refundable fee of Five hundred thousand Leones (Le 500,000) to the following account:

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of one hundred and thirty million Leones (Le 130,000,000) from a reputable commercial bank and must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:30 am on Wednesday 8th September 2021 and will be open thereafter 1:30 pm on the same date, in the presence of bidders or their representative who choose to attend at the address below.
Late bids will be rejected and returned unopen.
