A panel of three Justices sitting at the Court of Appeal, Honourable Justices Ansumana Ivan Sesay (JA), Alhaji Momoh-Jah Stevens (JA), and Adrian Jocelyn Fisher (J) has reserved for judgment the Commission of Inquiry matter between the State and erstwhile President Ernest Bai Koroma.
This development comes after submissions by lawyers representing the State and Appellants that they relied on their synopses filed in respect of their case.
According to Presiding Judge, Honourable Justice Ansumana Ivan Sesay, judgment will be delivered within three weeks. The former President is represented by Lawyer Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara and Ady Macauley.
Similarly, the empaneled Judges reserved the matter between the State and the 2023 Presidential Candidate for the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) party, Dr. Samura Kamara, for judgment.
The matter between the State and Mabinty Daramy was also reserved for judgment. She is represented by Lawyer Pa Momoh Fofana.
The State is represented by Lawyer A. Suwu Kendoh, T. J. Freeman and A. Lansana.
