Contrary to media allegations of the National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA) unpaid NASSIT contributions for its staff members, the head of the Commsission, Chief Ambassador Ernest Nbaimba Ndomahina, has set the record straight with regards non-compliance and the current administrative reformation under his administration.

Speaking to this media, the erudite, indefatigable NaCSA Commissioner, Chief Ambassador Ndomahina, said the period in question for the unpaid NASSIT contributions occurred before he assumed office as Commissioner of NaCSA, adding that the period was between 2016 and 2021 when he was serving as the Sierra Leone Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China.

He however disclosed that the Commission and the Board were working assiduously to resolve the issue of the non-payment of NASSIT contributions for workers.
Commissioner Ndomahina stressed that NaCSA under his leadership has consistently prioritized the welfare of its employees and adhered to all statutory obligations, including NASSIT contributions under his watch..

He urged the staff to remain calm and trust in NaCSA's commitment to transparency and accountability. The clarification aims to dispel any misconception and reinforce NaCSA's dedication to its staff's social security and well-being.

\Prior to being appointed as Commissioner of NaCSA in 2023, Ambassador Ndomahina had successfully served as Sierra Leone Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, where he worked assiduously towards strengthening the bilateral relation between Sierra Leone and China.

He also played a great role towards ensuring that the Government of China came to the rescue of Sierra Leone during the outbreak of COVID-19. It was through his dynamic leadership as Sierra Leone Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China that President Bio decided to appoint him as Commissioner of NaCSA for the implementation of projects and prohrammes aimed at alleviating poverty in the country.
