The erstwhile Attorney General and Minister of Justice in the former All People’s Congress (APC) Government, Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara Esq., has in his twitter stated that “Pretending Aspirants are globetrotting and attending parties, while the grassroots suffer under the yoke of bad governance at home.”
The comments of Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara, who also served as Commissioner of the
Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in the Koroma Administration, comes as crisis over party leadership deepens ahead of the main opposition APC’s primaries and National Delegates’ Conference slated for 2026.
According to JFK as he is fondly called, “No comment or an iota of opposition posturing, is heard from the caboodle. Next Convention will not be business as usual, nor a Coronation.”
His comments indicate the lack of confidence in the current APC leadership by many stalwarts in the party and their determination to ensure that the next convention will be very competitive instead of being a mere coronation.
