The All People's Congress (APC) is fully set to commence its lower level elections tomorrow Saturday 21st February, 2026 across various wards nationwide, marking a significant step in strengthening the party’s grassroots structures.

The exercise, which will see the election of ward executives is expected to attract large participation from qualified registered party members.
Party stakeholders have described the process as crucial in consolidating unity, promoting internal democracy, and repositioning the APC for future political engagements.

Across several districts, preparations have been finalized including training of elections personnel, the distribution of electoral materials and guidelines communicated to ensure a peaceful and transparent process.

Aspirants have intensified their last-minute engagements with qualified registered party members, expressing confidence in a free and fair contest.
Senior party figures have called on supporters to remain calm, orderly, and committed to the party’s democratic values throughout the exercise.

They emphasized that the success of the lower level elections will lay a solid foundation for stronger leadership at higher levels of the party.

As anticipation builds, members of the APC are optimistic that tomorrow’s polls will further solidify the party’s structure and enhance cohesion ahead of future national political activities.
