Ex-President Koroma who is the Chairman and Leader of the All Peoples Congress party is expected to be a guest of the Criminal Investigations Department headquarters in Freetown today Wednesday January 15th 2019.

The invitation for him to make himself available at CID headquarters was sent by the head of the Police Crime Division on Monday January 14th 2018 to the APC Secretary General, Ambassador Foday Yansaneh.

With regards the same matter that police have summoned Ex-President Koroma for to obtain statement from him, police report that, they have obtained statements from the APC Secretary General and eleven other members of the party’s National Advisory Council.

The APC executive officials became subject of police interest and investigation following a press release from the APC secretariat dated December 28th 2018, which police said, was inflammatory and held the potential to disturb the peace and cause civil unrest.

Police in their invitation to the APC Chairman and Leader said, he is allowed to go with his lawyer (s).
