Leader of the governing Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), His Excellency President Brig. (Rtd) Dr. Julius Maada Bo will on Monday 22nd May, 2023 formally launch the party manifesto ahead of the Saturday 24th June presidential, parliamentary and local council elections.

According to the SLPP Secretariat, President Bio will launch the 2023 election manifesto in the Eastern Regional headquarters of Kenema City, one of the strongholds of the party.

Ahead of the launch ceremony, the SLPP hierarchy in the Eastern Region has made massive preparations to welcome the much determined President Bio, who has vowed to once again deliver after his re-election with no runoff.

The 2023 election manifesto is expected to highlight all the President’s achievements in his first term in office as well as what his Government intends to do for Sierra Leone in his second term of office.

Many renowned international organizations have expressed satisfactory with President Bio’s determination in fighting corruption, improving education, revamping the country’s health sector, improving agriculture and many other developments impacting the lives of Sierra Leoneans.

Before the launch of the election manifesto, President Bio will on Saturday 20th May, 2023 officially unveil the newly constructed Southern Arena Stadium in Bo City funded by the young business magnate, Babadi Kamara, before His Excellency will proceed to Kenema City to launch the manifesto.

President Bio will also at the weekend visit Koinadugu District, Manjoroka and Karina in Bombali District in the North-East Region respectively.
