Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh yesterday Thursday 6th July, 2023 chaired the meeting of Public Servants of Local Councils held at the new Freetown City Council Conference Hall, Wallace Johnson Street in Freetown.

Speaking at the meeting, the Honourable Vice President said the meeting was a stocktaking exercise because the government would count on their ideas, experience and the time spent as interim political heads and administrators to improve on Local Council governance in the country.

According to the second gentleman, the meeting was also a platform and opportunity to emphasize on one of the five pillars of President Bio's manifesto: "Revamping the Public Service for Efficiency and Effectiveness."

He said the meeting was critical to building and ensuring what His Excellency President Brig. (Rtd) Julius Maada Bio usually called the efficient and effective management of the State.
