The President of Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Babadi Kamara, has offered the Southern Arena Stadium he personally built in Bo City as a training camp for the national football team ahead of the country’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Guinea Bissau and Ethoipia on September 4 and September 9, 2025.

The SLFA president made the offer during the first meeting with the team at the SLFA Secretariat, stating that holding training camp at the Southern Arena would ensure fewer disruptions and enhance focus for both the technical team and players during and after training sessions.

President Babadi Kamara emphasised that as a standard facility, Southern Arena will provide an appropriate environment for professional and productive training, ensuring the team's physical and mental preparedness for the crucial functions ahead.
The Leone Stars team arrived yesterday at the Southern Arena Stadium to begin official training.

The meeting was graced by the SLFA President, Vice President 1, Alie Badara Tarawalie, who served as Head of Technical Committee, Head Coach Mohamed Kallon and his technical staff, reflecting a shared commitment to the success of Sierra Leone's national team.
