The ninety-day High Court order that was granted to erstwhile President Ernest Bai Koroma to seek medical attention in the Federal Republic of Nigeria expired yesterday Thursday 18th April, 2024.

However, the legal team of the former President says they have secured an enlargement of time from the High Court of Sierra Leone and the rescheduled date for the next hearing is 17th July, 2024.

Former President Koroma, who was charged with Treason, Misprision of Treason and two counts of Habouring for his alleged involvement in the Sunday 26th November, 2023 attempted coup, is still in the administrative city of Abuja, Nigeria.
