Orange Money, the leading mobile finance company in Sierra Leone, has launched partnership with Mikashboks with the ultimate aim to boost accessibility to finance and financial inclusion in the country. The partnership was launched yesterday Thursday 18th April, 2024 at Orange Sierra Leone Headquarters on Regent Road, Hill Station in Freetown.

Speaking at the launch, Orange Money Chief Executive Officer, David Mansaray, underscored the importance of the partnership with Mikashboks to increase financial inclusion as a nation.

The CEO assured that the partnership with MiKashBoks is not only about financial inclusion but also highlights the importance of savings and access to credit facilities to the wider population.

Mr. Mansaray expressed excitement to partner with MiKashBoks as they are significantly moving to empower individuals and businesses, fostering economic growth and stability in the country.

He said the partnership will provide additional option to access to finance by customers and it will be a win-win situation between the two institutions.

The CEO added that the partnership will increase more customers to their Orange Money platform and enable the company to make more profit.
Mr. Mansaray said Orange Money’s partnership with MiKashBoks has been a dream come true to achieve financial inclusion and enable customers to undertake many financial transactions.

He further urged the wider population to open MiKashBoks app to save money in their phones to undertake personal services.

The CEO thanked the technical teams of the two institutions for making the service possible to customers.

Mr. Logan said the partnership with Orange Money is a significant step towards formalizing financial practices and extending access to a wider population.

He disclosed that that MiKashBoks app was inspired by Founder, Salton Masaalay’s personal experience aimed at bridging financial gaps faced by individuals as well as to foster trust and inclusivity within the community, adding that the impact of the MiKashBoks financial app is immense with over 11,000 using it to undertake financial transactions.

Mr. Logan said Orange Money’s partnership with MiKashBoks is a game change for financial elevation and inclusion to the wider population, adding that MiKashBoks offers communities access to a range of financial services that enable them to earn competitive interest rates on savings, establish credit history, and offer fair opportunities for loans at better rates.

He said MiKashBoks app is readily accessible to users on Google Play Store for Android users, and accessible via dialing *352# for iPhone or basic feature phone users, ensuring inclusivity and ease of access for all.
Mr. Logan reiterated that the MiKashBoks app is efficient with robust features that aim to address concerns about irregularities.
