Catholic Relief Services (CRS), one of the leading humanitarian organizations globally, on Wednesday 28th February, 2024 celebrated its 60 years of humanitarian interventions to create far-reaching impact on the lives of Sierra Leoneans.

The humanitarian relief organization, which was established in the country since 1963 with strong Catholic agenda, started its celebration with Thanksgiving Mass at St. Anthony Parish Church at Brookfields, Freetown, and a Cocktail at Radisson Blu Mammy Yoko Hotel at Aberdeen that was graced by key stakeholders from government, strategic partner organizations, donors amongst others.

The celebration served as a time of reflection on blessings and encouraged a spirit of generosity as it cultivated a sense of gratitude and compassion, reinforcing its commitment to helping the needy and promoting unity within communities.

The CRS celebration was climaxed with awards to honour its strategic partners whom they said stood exceptionally in actualizing the vision of the organization to achieve the desired impact on the lives of the people in the country included the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Water Resources, Caritas Makeni and Bo,
