Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has utilized this year’s Jalsa Salana annual conference of the Ahmadiyya mission holding in Bo to expound on the mission’s diverse contributions to government’s efforts aspirations.


Giving a statement at the opening of the gathering on Friday 24th January, the VP conveyed special compliments from His Excellency, President Julius Maada Bio, stating leaders and religious groups from all walks of life consider seriously the place of the mission, its work and the efforts of the Jamaat.

Making allusions to the theme of this year’s gathering, Knowledge, Education, the VP furthered that the government is cognitive of the role Ahmadiyya plays in this country.

He cited this theme to the importance of the first revelation Sura in the Holy Quran, Iqra, to the religion.
Knowledge, which Allah said He wants for His people, he said is dear to Islam, referencing what one minister who spoke before him said is the light.

Ahmadiyya, VP Jalloh, said has done a lot to promote education with over 300 schools, eminent alumni including himself serving in the highest seats of government.

He singled out Ahmadiyya for their role in the Free Quality Education, adding that the mission also supports health, agriculture, water facilities construction of over 1,000 mosques.

He said President Bio listens to and believes in Iqra for which he introduced the Free Quality Education program to increase human capital development.
Formally declaring the 57thAhmadiyya Jalsa Salana conference open, VP Juldeh Jalloh assured that government is always supportive of Ahmadiyya’s human capital development endeavors.
