A memo dated 17th May 2018 from the Secretary to the Cabinet and Head of the Civil Service, Professor Julius F. Sandy addressed to the Secretary to the President, Secretary to the Vice President and the Director of Human Resource Management Office has ordered new administrative postings in the civil service.

The postings or transfers which take effect immediately affect many officers in the top echelon of the ministries.
In the Office of the President, Mr. Bockarie Momo Foh becomes the Principal Assistant to the President, whilst Mr. Reginald Thomas proceeds on vacation leave.
Mrs. Fatmata E. Kargbo takes over as State House Chief of Protocol whilst Mrs.Rasie B. Kargbo proceeds on retirement and Mr. Sam Aruna is to act as Assistant to the Secretary to the President.
Mr. Salamu Koroma becomes Deputy Secretary whilst Dr Philip D. Kargbo proceeds on vacation leave.
In the Office of the Vice President, the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Joe F. Nyuma, becomes Chief of Protocol whilst Mr. J. G. Caulker proceeds on retirement.
In the Office of the Chief Minister, Mr. Sadiq Kapuwa becomes the Permanent Secretary and Mr Stevenson K. Kamanda becomes Senior Assistant Secretary.
In the Human Resource Management Office, the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Samuel O. J. Coker, becomes Director of HRMO Planning and Budgeting, while Georgina Kamara is transferred.
Mr. Patrick M. Kawa, Deputy Secretary to act as Director, Management Services as Mr. Bockarie Momo Foh transferred.
Mr. Mohamed A. Edmund, Deputy Secretary to act as Director, Corporate Strategy and Administration, while Mr. Bai M. Thuray transferred. Mrs. Mathat Pollet becomes Senior Assistant Secretary.
In the Ministry of Defence, Charles M. Kamanda becomes Director General with Sana Marah to proceed on retirement.
In the Public Sector Reform Unit, Miss Simeonette S. Mansaray, the Assistant Secretary is to act as Senior Assistant Secretary.
In the Ministry of Basic Education, Mrs. Nancy S. Tengbeh becomes Permanent Secretary and Mr. Lawrence l. Amara is Senior Assistant Secretary.
In the Ministry of Technical and Higher Education, Mr. Gilbert Cooper acts as Permanent Secretary with Mr. Umar Conteh transferred.
In the Ministry of Economic Planning and Development, Mrs. Mariatu Browne becomes Deputy Development Secretary whilst Mrs. Nancy S. Tengbeh transferred.
Mrs. Mamie Miatta Johnny acts as Deputy Development Secretary; Mr. Sheku Kamara transferred.
In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Alhassan Kondeh becomes Deputy Director General with Paul Minah is the Director General.
Mr. Sahr Johnny becomes Permanent Secretary and Tamba Juana proceeds on vacation leave.
Miss Rakie M. B. Macarthy acts as Permanent Secretary whilst Mohamed S. Kargbo proceeds on vacation leave.
Mr. Joseph Thornton, Deputy Secretary acts as Permanent Secretary whilst Mr. Momodu A. Wurie proceeds on vacation leave.
In the Ministry of Transport and Aviation, Mr. Brima S. T. Kebbie becomes Permanent Secretary with Mr. Dennis Vandi appointed Secretary to the President.
In the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Mohamed Dabor becomes Permanent Secretary whilst Alhassan Kondeh is transferred.
In the Ministry of Health and Sanitation, Mr. Mohamed Kutubu becomes Deputy Secretary as Mrs. Mamie Miatta Macarthy transferred.
In the Ministry of Sport, Mr. Bai M. Thuray becomes Permanent Secretary with Mr. Samuel Coker transferred.
In the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Mr. Tommy Tengbeh becomes Permanent Secretary with Mr. Mohamed Dabor transferred.
